Long negotiations

Earlier in March 2018, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has confirmed about routs during a press briefing in Kiev the fact of negotiations with the „Ryanair“. More details were not specified, only it was definitely known that there will be routes to Poland.

Why „Ryanair“ said NO in 2017?

…because of „failure to honour a growth agreement“

Last year, in July, „Ryanair“ announced the cancellation of its planned flights to Ukraine after Boryspil airport had violated the agreement achieved at the Infrastructure Ministry with the airport officials in March 2017.

The budget airline accused Kiev of choosing to „protect high-fare airlines, including the country’s largest carrier „Ukraine International Airlines“.

In 2017 „Ryanair“ intended to fly from Kiev to London, Manchester, Eindhoven and Stockholm, and from Lviv to Berlin, Memmingen (Munich), Budapest, London, Wroclaw, Krakow and Eindhoven.
